Regulation

Our regulatory framework is governed by the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM), which has been overseeing the operation of financial markets since March 1, 2002.

The AFM is responsible for supervising the conduct of the entire financial market sector, including savings, investments, insurance, loans, pensions, capital markets, asset management, accountancy, and financial reporting. The authority is dedicated to fostering fair and transparent financial markets. As an independent market conduct regulator, the AFM plays a key role in promoting sustainable financial well-being in the Netherlands.

Similarly, the market access regulation falls under the purview of the AFM, which has been ensuring the proper functioning of financial markets since March 1, 2002. This includes oversight of the entire financial market sector, as mentioned above. The AFM remains committed to maintaining fair and transparent financial markets, contributing to the long-term financial health and stability of the Netherlands.
